The results of a recent year-long study into mindfulness techniques suggests that mindfulness can help educators relieve stress, be more present with their students, and approach their day with a positive outlook. Two key teacher behaviors included in mindfulness, potential and goal setting, contribute to stronger academic press, higher teacher efficacy, and are linked to student achievement. This interactive presentation will provide principals and other educational leaders with several essential tools they can share with their own staff.
