This session illustrates methods for new and aspiring administrators to stay out of fiscal trouble. School administrators should not feel trepidation about "fiscal discussions" or “the auditors” because these subjects were not covered well in administrator school. This session provides methods for understanding the principal's / director's role for spending their dollars smartly, wisely, and legally. This session also provides methods for interacting with district fiscal staff and district auditors such that there is no perception that the business office is a black hole of challenges and misunderstanding.
